New ownership of Danphone A/S
We are pleased to announce that Danphone A/S has gained a new ownership.
Danphone has been co-owned by Ove Jensen and Jens Lucassen since 2000. Claus Christensen, Chairman of the board, started planning a new ownership this spring, as Jens Lucassen wanted to retire.
The new ownership consists of Ove Jensen, Andy Reynolds and Claus Falk, who will ensure both continuity and further development of the company.
Ove Jensen has been Managing Director of Danphone since 1995, Andy Reynolds has been Sales Manager in Danphone since 1999, Claus Falk is newly appointed Deputy Chairman of Danphone. Claus Falk is also managing partner in the technology investment company Appo that focuses on growth in technology companies. Claus Christensen continues as Chairman of the board.
In conjunction with the new ownership, development engineer Helge Lyngesen has been employed to strengthen the hardware development at Danphone.
Danphone develops, manufactures and sells systems for maritime communication and safety, as well as products for radio and safety inspection onboard ships. Danphone has customers in more than 80 countries.
Danphone has a positive market outlook for the future both in terms of number of systems deployed and in terms of development with focus on new functionality, increased reliability and digital solutions. The market is dictated by ever increasing volume of worldwide shipping and increased demands on communication and safety at sea.
